Feedback from an Adult Webmaster of Asian Sites

I got a lovely piece of feedback that I’m quite happy to share. This is from a web master that I have been working with, who has a collection of Asian adult web sites. I provided him with a single test piece of gallery descriptions, to add some written web content to his site. This was my first foray into the Asian fetish in my adult writing.

You’ve written -one- piece for me and that piece is the one doing best in the search engines…
(I can throw in a happy face or a sad face here, depending on the point of view šŸ˜‰ Ā )
Heck, I can’t even recall giving you key-words to work on, still you do best according to google.

I seem to have picked up a knack for choosing my own keywords with pieces, since Morten didn’t give me any, and I didn’t do any Google keyword research of my own. Looking forward to doing some more Asian web content pieces for him in the coming weeks!

Sasha Grey and Adult Entertainment News

A few of my employers like to include news relating to the goings on in the adult industry. I recently wrote a piece on Sasha Grey, the controversy surrounding the release of the movie ‘Anal Artists’, and Sasha’s belief that the adult movie company releasing this collection of scenes is trying to jump on the hype created when Sasha participated in the Read Across America program. It seems to be quite the hot topic at the moment, as it has spilled from the sometimes limited world of adult entertainment news, and flooded into mainstream media on sites like Huffington Post and TMZ.

You can read my piece on the controversy in the Adult Entertainment News Items section of my Adult Web Content collection.

Adult Entertainment News Items

I often get asked to create pieces centered around events in the adult entertainment industry. News items involving adult stars are as widely clicked as the adult star’s images and videos. Adult entertainment news writers need to have a certain ‘in’ to the industry – which I have. Here’s an adult entertainment news piece I wrote following Sasha Grey’s involvement with Read Across America, and the subsequent release of ‘Anal Artists’.

Sasha Grey canā€™t seem to get a break when it comes to her involvement with childhood education. You may remember back in November when a controversy arose due to her involvement with the Read Across America program. Like many other Hollywood stars, Sasha donated her time to read to 1st graders at Emerson Elementary School in Compton, California. A major fuss was raised when a few parents got wind that this former adult movie star was in their childrenā€™s classroom. The school denied that Sasha was even on school grounds, up until pictures emerged showing her reading to the attentive students. Unfortunately, the school dropped the program, “because of one lone disgruntled fan who harassed my parents, the school district, the media and me, for my involvement in such an important programā€, according to Sasha.

The latest news involves an adult movie company named Assence Films, who have added to the education-related controversy. While Sasha has been retired from the adult industry for almost a year, Assence have released a new movie using previously released scenes of Miss Grey at work. Alongside this movie, entitled ā€˜Anal Artistsā€™, Assence announced that they were donating part of the proceeds to National Education Association, a teacherā€™s union. Sasha has said that she is not involved with this project, and that they are merely hoping to jump on the hype created during her last venture into childrenā€™s education ā€“ and it looks like thatā€™s just what has happened.

NEA has refused the funding, saying in a statement to the Huffington Post, “Sasha Grey is not affiliated with the National Education Associationā€™s Read Across America program nor has she been invited or endorsed by NEA to read at any of the associationā€™s Read Across America Day events, and NEA will not accept any proceeds from her latest, or any of her films.ā€

Sasha is understandably angry, saying “the fact that people are now misled to believe Iā€™m personally selling this movie with salacious marketing, or the fact that the [National Education Association] wonā€™t take donations from this pathetic company. Thereā€™s little money for education in this beautiful country, and as a pro-education advocate, itā€™s heartbreaking to hear this.”

Eroticon 2012 Interviews Ruby Goodnight

Erotica Writers Conference Eroticon2012 Ruby GoodnightI’m pretty chuffed that I’ve been profiled on the Eroticon 2012 web site as aĀ delegate. I know I’ve been going on and on about this upcoming collection of adult bloggers and erotica writers, but it’s an amazing, first-of-its-kind event for those of us in the UK who write this type of material.

The lovely lady who is running it, Ruby (great kinky minds think alike when it comes to pen names), is doing an unreal job of pulling together all the bits and bobs that go along with an adult workshop / erotica conference. I do take my hat off to her, and hope I get to meet her as well as the other erotica writers around the UK who will be in attendance.

Check out the interview with me, Ruby Goodnight, on Eroticon2012’s blog.
